How it goes
  1. The house puts everyone in one of three rooms — except one person, who was prowling and was nowhere at all.
  2. Everyone says where they were and how many they were. An innocent just confirms their card: they can't get it wrong.
  3. The room that gets one ballot too many is hiding the culprit. The others are cleared. At the end, one name only.
